Shannon is happily married to her husband, David, for 32 years. They have two children, Kelsey and Ryan. Shannon and Davis are now empty nesters as both boys are all grown up. They also have two beautiful daughters in law, Kelsey and Molly were married in June of 2021 and Ryan married Raini in June of 2023. They are eagerly awaiting grandchildren!
Shannon has worked in the DME industry for over 20 years. She started her career as a biller, worked up through leadership as a Team Lead, Supervisor, Manager and then Director. She has great experience in order review, documentation, denials and aging, cash posting, bank reconciliation, acquisitions and conversions and also a small background with contracting and credentialling. She joined Protech in October of 2024 and she is thrilled to be a part of this team.

I am originally from Columbia, TN. I graduated from the University of Alabama with a bachelors degree in business and have been with Protech ever since graduating. I love spending time with family, friends, and my pets. I have a yellow lab and 2 cats that are my world.

I am a mom of 2, boy and a girl, I have been in the medical field for many years started my first big girl job with David and Nikki in 2012. I have experience in all different areas of DME, HR, Billing, etc. I have 13 goats, 3 dogs, 1 rabbit and I am sure more are to come. I have an associate’s degree in Information Technology: Medical Office Management and I plan to eventually graduate school to hopefully teach a Health Science or Computer Science class.

Cecelia has been employed with the the billing office for about 10 months now, but she has been in the DME customer service industry for 18 years. she is from a small town in southern Kentucky, and moved to TN over 3 yrs ago.

Melissa is a Limestone, TN native and graduate of Columbia State with a degree in Business Administration and Medical Office Management. Outside of work, Melissa enjoys spending time with her 5 grandchildren, and she is planning to go on a Bigfoot expedition with her husband soon!

Jennifer Valentin

Jennifer was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia. She has been in the DME business since 1999. She would love to travel, typically to the Carribean Islands (cold is not my thing). She also enjoys attending music events and my spending time with her family. Jennifer has an amazing husband, 3 grown children and a grandson who has captured her heart and soul. AND you can't exclude proud dog-mom of her Pitbull, Cesar.
When asked about an interesting face about herself, she proudly said she was scared of heights but most recently went cliff diving, which she highly recommends. -

Heather was born and raised in Hattiesburg, MS (GO, Southern Miss!) She began her HR career last year at Wal-Mart and immediately knew I had found my niche! Prior to Human Resources, I worked as a Realtor with licenses in AL and TN! Outside of work, she enjoys playing guitar, singing, dancing, and spending time outdoors with my kids!
In college, Heather was semi-fluent in Spanish and volunteered with the children’s ministry and teaching English as a Second language at a local Hispanic church.

Carrie has was born and raised in Evansville, IN but has lived in Franklin, TN for last 9 years. She attend Indiana University where she completed her BS in Speech and Hearing Sciences, Psychology as well as her MBA in Speech-Language Pathology. Carrie loves exercising, traveling going to concerts, and spending time with her family. She also enjoys following baseball, in fact, each year she and her family make it a tradition to go to a new MLB ballpark to see a game!

His deep ties to his hometown and alma mater have made him an avid UK fan, a passion that comes naturally given his birthplace and educational background. Fun fact...John was honored as a Kentucky Colonel in 2006.
